Title: Endocrine and Intracrine Modulation: Implications for Tissue Engineering and Musculoskeletal Health — A Preliminary Examination

Abstract: The intersection of endocrine biology and tissue engineering presents a promising frontier for advancing musculoskeletal repair strategies. This preliminary examination explores how both systemic (endocrine) and local (intracrine) hormonal signaling pathways contribute to musculoskeletal maintenance, repair, and hypertrophy. Bridging endocrine and intracrine dynamics with biomaterial design offers a novel platform for advancing tissue engineering approaches in musculoskeletal health, particularly as we seek to develop personalized regenerative therapies across diverse patient populations.
