Advance Human Health Through Biomedical Engineering (BME): Join UIC’s Internationally Recognized Graduate Programs in BME and Bioinformatics
The UIC BME Department’s graduate programs informational sessions will include an overview of master’s and doctoral graduate degree programs, followed by a show-and-tell of the cutting-edge research being conducted by faculty and labs within diverse areas of biomedical engineering, including but not limited to robotics and wearable electronics for rehabilitation, biomaterials, and stem cells for tissue engineering. microphysiological systems for drug development, diagnostic and biosensor platforms for healthcare, cell mechanics in disease, biomedical optics and imaging, and quantitative biology and bioinformatics. Prospective graduate students will hear from current graduate students and alumni on why they chose UIC BME and Chicago for this important phase of their graduate journey and the impact on their professional growth.
The Richard and Loan Hill Department of Biomedical Engineering will host virtual informational sessions (both are identical in content) for prospective graduate students on:
- Thursday, January 22, 2026
- Morning session: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (Central Time)
- Thursday, February 12, 2026
- Evening session: 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Central Time)
