The UIC Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department’s graduate programs informational sessions will include an overview of masters and doctoral graduate degree programs, followed by show-and-tell of the cutting-edge research being conducted by faculty and labs within diverse areas of biomedical engineering including but not limited to robotics and wearable electronics for rehabilitation, biomaterials and stem cells for tissue engineering. microphysiological systems for drug development, diagnostic and biosensor platforms for healthcare, cell mechanics in disease, biomedical optics and imaging, and quantitative biology and bioinformatics. Prospective graduate students will hear from current graduate students on why they chose UIC BME and Chicago for this important phase of their graduate journey.
The Richard and Loan Hill Department of Biomedical Engineering will host virtual informational sessions for prospective graduate students on:
- Thursday, November 7, 2024
- Morning session: 10:30 am – 11:30 am (Central Time)
- Evening session: 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Central Time)
