BME Professor Wins Teaching Recognition Award

Richard and Loan Hill Department of Biomedical Engineering Professor Kamran Avanaki was recognized by the 2025-2026 UIC Teaching Recognition Program. This program celebrates excellence in teaching at UIC and provides faculty with an opportunity to showcase their dedication to student learning and educational innovation.
The program is open to all tenured, tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty with a demonstrated long-term commitment to teaching at UIC.
The program is overseen by faculty and offered through the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
