The UIC Biomedical Engineering Department’s graduate programs informational sessions includes an overview of its master’s and doctoral graduate degree programs, followed by a show-and-tell of the cutting-edge research being conducted by faculty and labs within diverse areas of biomedical engineering including but not limited to robotics and wearable electronics for rehabilitation, biomaterials and stem cells for tissue engineering. microphysiological systems for drug development, diagnostic and biosensor platforms for healthcare, cell mechanics in disease, biomedical optics and imaging, and quantitative biology and bioinformatics.
